Gaffer for Alt-Pop Music Video, ATL

We're seeking a talented Gaffer to join our crew for an upcoming alt-pop music video. We need someone who can hit the ground running, designing and executing lighting setups that bring our unique vision to life. This project features a stylized, atmospheric tone, blending vibrant color palettes with dramatic shadows to create a dreamlike, high-energy aesthetic. It's a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an independent production with creative freedom. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with the Director of Photography on lighting design, rigging and operating various lighting equipment, and managing the electrics team. We're looking for someone with a strong reel showcasing diverse lighting work, particularly in music videos or narrative shorts. You should have your own basic kit, including essential grip and electric tools, and be familiar with common LED fixtures and practicals. Experience on music video sets is a plus, but we're open to passionate individuals at any career stage with a strong portfolio. The shoot is planned for 1-2 days in early November 2026. Long days are expected, typically 10-12 hours. Craft services and water will be provided on set.
