Cinematography for Music Video

Hey filmmakers, DeShawn here, Best Boy Grip on an independent music video shoot. We're looking for a skilled Camera Operator to join our team for an upcoming project in New Orleans. This is a high-energy R&B and hip-hop video with a cool, vibrant aesthetic. We're aiming for dynamic camera work that complements the artist's performance and the city's unique vibe. Your main responsibilities will include operating our primary camera package, working closely with the Director and DP to execute their vision, and contributing to shot composition and movement. We're open to all experience levels, from rising talent to seasoned pros, as long as you've got a good eye and a positive attitude. You'll need to have access to your own camera package (mirrorless or DSLR is fine, with appropriate lenses) and a reel demonstrating your operating skills. Shoot dates are approximately two to three days in late July or early August, specific dates TBD based on crew availability. Expect long but fulfilling days on set. We'll provide craft services, lunch, and transportation to and from locations within the city. This is a deferred compensation project, offering a percentage backend, as we’re a small production company and passionate about getting this piece made. Looking forward to seeing your work!
