Cinematography for Web Series

Hey everyone, Callum here, I'm rigging on an exciting new independent web series shooting in Manchester and we're on the hunt for a skilled Director of Photography (DoP). This is a character-driven crime drama, think realistic and raw, with a strong emphasis on atmosphere and naturalistic lighting. We need someone who can help us tell a compelling story visually, bringing a visceral, grounded feel to the episodes. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our visual storytelling, including camera, lighting, and grip. We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years of experience on narrative projects, ideally with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on dramas or thrillers. Please have your own camera package (something like a Sony FX6 or similar would be great) and a basic lighting kit. Access to a car is also a plus for getting around Manchester locations. Shoot dates are looking like 3-4 weeks in late September/early October, working 10-hour days, 5 days a week. We're a small but passionate crew, and we'll be providing all craft services and travel expenses. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into a dark, engaging story.
