Cinematography for Web Series

After a devastating cyberattack, an aspiring investigative journalist uncovers a secret society of hackers fighting to expose the truth through a high-stakes online game. We're an independent production seeking a skilled Gaffer for our upcoming web series, a tech-thriller with a neon-noir aesthetic. You'll be working closely with our DP to shape the visual mood, creating dynamic and atmospheric lighting setups that are crucial to conveying the project's tone. Key responsibilities include executing the lighting plan, managing power distribution, and ensuring safety on set. We're looking for someone with senior gaffing experience on narrative projects, ideally with experience working on independent productions. You should have a strong understanding of various lighting fixtures and techniques, and be comfortable troubleshooting on the fly. Please provide a brief portfolio or reel showcasing your lighting work. Shoot dates are approximate, targeting late August or early September 2026 for 5-7 days of shooting, generally 10-hour days. We'll be providing all necessary lighting and grip equipment, but a Gaffer who can bring some of their own specialized tools or knowledge is a bonus. Compensation is $150-300 per day, dependent on experience.
