Gaffer for Corporate Video Shoot

We need a skilled Gaffer to illuminate our upcoming corporate video project in Los Angeles. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece; we're aiming for a polished, modern aesthetic that tells a compelling story about innovation. It's a short, engaging piece that will showcase a tech company's new product, focusing on clean lines and a dynamic, forward-thinking tone. You'll be responsible for designing and executing the lighting setup, ensuring top-tier visual quality that enhances the product's appeal and the overall brand image. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the DP on lighting plans, setting up and striking all lighting equipment, power distribution, and managing a small lighting team if needed. We're looking for someone with extensive experience in corporate or commercial shoots, a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create diverse looks, and a keen eye for detail. You must own a basic lighting package suitable for a corporate interview and product demo setup (lights, stands, grip, distro, etc.). A solid reel showcasing your Gaffer work is essential. This is a senior-level position. We anticipate a 1-2 day shoot, likely within September 2026, with an 8-10 hour workday. We provide catering and craft services on set. Pay is $250/day flat.
