Cinematography for Web Series

An independent production is seeking a talented Director of Photography for our upcoming sci-fi thriller web series, \"The Augment.\" This is a gritty, high-stakes story exploring near-future tech and its moral implications, with a focus on suspense and character-driven drama. We're looking for someone who can craft a visually compelling world on a tight budget, using creative lighting and framing to elevate the storytelling. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director on visual style, executing the lighting and camera setups, and managing the camera department. We need someone with a strong artistic eye and practical problem-solving skills. You should have your own cinema-ready camera package (e.g., Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro, Sony FX3, or similar) along with a basic lens kit and support equipment. Please have a solid reel demonstrating your narrative work, particularly in genres with a strong visual component. This is a passion project, and as such, it is a volunteer position. We estimate shooting 6-8 days, likely over weekends, in late August/early September, in and around the Atlanta area. We'll provide craft services, on-set meals, and transportation support for specific locations if needed.
