Color Grading for Documentary

We're looking for an experienced Senior Colorist for an upcoming independent feature documentary in New Orleans. This film dives deep into the vibrant, often unseen, culinary traditions of the Louisiana bayou, exploring the generational stories behind the food. The tone is rich, intimate, and visually driven, requiring a nuanced touch to enhance the natural beauty and character of our subjects. Your primary responsibility will be to perform high-level color grading, ensuring visual consistency and an emotionally resonant aesthetic throughout the film. You'll be working closely with the director and editor to define the final bringing your creative vision and technical expertise to the project. We need someone with at least 5+ years of professional color grading experience, particularly on documentary features. You should have your own fully equipped grading suite (hardware and software, e.g., DaVinci Resolve Studio) and a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to handle complex projects. The work is expected to primarily take place in New Orleans, though some remote collaboration may be possible for specific tasks.
