Color Grading for Short Film

Hey filmmakers, I'm a Motion Graphics Artist working on an upcoming independent short film and we're looking for a talented mid-level colorist to join our team. This is a dramatic, character-driven piece with surrealist elements, exploring themes of grief and memory. It's aesthetically rich, with a dreamlike yet grounded visual style we're excited to bring to life. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and execute the final look of the film, ensuring visual consistency and elevating the storytelling through expert color grading. We're looking for someone who can work collaboratively, has a strong eye for detail, and can translate creative notes into compelling visuals. You should have access to your own professional grading software and a calibrated monitoring setup. Please have a strong reel showcasing your narrative work. We anticipate needing about 3-5 days of grading, likely spread over a week or two in late August or early September 2026 (flexible, TBD). This is a partnership opportunity, offering an equity stake in the film rather than upfront payment.
