Colorist, Drama Pilot
Hey all, I'm working as a script supervisor on an upcoming independent pilot, a gritty drama about a struggling jazz musician navigating personal demons and the vibrant L.A. music scene. We're looking for an entry-level colorist to help us define the visual tone and atmosphere. This is a passion project for a lot of us, and we're excited to find someone with a fresh eye. Your main responsibilities will involve color correcting and grading our footage, ensuring consistency, and creating a distinct look that enhances the story's emotional impact. We'd love to see a reel or some work samples that show your understanding of cinematic color. You'll need to have your own color grading software and a calibrated monitor. We're shooting in early to mid-March, so we'd be looking for you to start post-production sometime in late March or early April. We anticipate around 5-7 full days of work, possibly spread out. Payment is daily, and we'll provide some meals and plenty of coffee. This is a great opportunity to get some experience and credits on a compelling story with a talented crew.
