Corporate Video Screenwriter (Entry-Level)
Hey filmmakers, I'm Sierra, a Hair Dept Head, looking for an entry-level screenwriter for an upcoming corporate video project. We're creating a short, engaging piece (think 5-7 minutes) for a tech startup, highlighting their new app. The tone is informative and a bit playful, aiming to make complex information accessible and fun. Think less stuffy corporate and more lively explainer video. Your main responsibilities will be collaborating on concept development, outlining the narrative flow, and writing script drafts, incorporating feedback. We're looking for someone with a strong grasp of concise storytelling and an ability to translate technical concepts into compelling dialogue and visuals. No need for a massive resume, but some prior scriptwriting experience, even student projects, is a plus. Please share any writing samples or a reel, even if it's just spec scripts. This is an LA-based opportunity. We're aiming to shoot within the next 2-3 months, with flexible hours for this pre-production writing phase. This is a partnership, with compensation being a revenue share from the project. It's a great chance to get a corporate credit and build your portfolio. Looking forward to hearing from you!
