Screenwriting for Corporate Video

Hey everyone, Claire here. I'm helping an independent production find a seasoned screenwriter for an upcoming series of corporate explainer videos. We're looking for someone to craft compelling, clear, and engaging scripts that simplify complex B2B services. Think smart, concise, and maybe even a little witty, no dry corporate speak. We need these scripts to really hook viewers and translate technical info into digestible stories. You'll be responsible for outlining, drafting, and revising scripts based on provided briefs and client feedback, ensuring all messaging is on point and resonates with the target audience. We need someone who has a strong portfolio of corporate or commercial writing, ideally with examples of explainers or educational content. A knack for making potentially dry subjects interesting is key. Experience working with diverse stakeholders and a proven ability to meet deadlines are essential. We're looking at a commitment of approximately 40 hours per week for several months, with a start date in late July, early August. This is a WFH friendly role, but we'd love some occasional in-person collaboration in our New York, NY office if you're local.
