Senior Screenwriter, Web Series (Horror-Comedy)

Looking for a senior screenwriter for an upcoming independent web series. This project is a horror-comedy, think 'Ash vs Evil Dead' meets 'What We Do in the Shadows' in a modern, LA setting. We're aiming for something genuinely funny with some solid scares. You'll be responsible for developing episode outlines, writing scripts, and participating in virtual writer's room sessions to refine ideas. We need someone with significant experience scripting for episodic content, especially in genre work. Please have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft compelling narratives and sharp dialogue. While based in Los Angeles, this role is remote-friendly, so you can work from anywhere. Compensation is deferred, with equity points to be discussed. We’re aiming to begin pre-production within the next 2-3 months, with writing needing to be completed before principal photography. A small production company, we're passionate about this project and excited to find a talented writer to bring it to life.
