Directing for Commercial

Seeking a 1st Assistant Director for an upcoming independent commercial shoot, approximately 2-3 days of filming in the last week of October 2026, with prep starting about 3 days prior. This is a punchy, energetic commercial for a local Atlanta business, focusing on quick cuts and vibrant visuals. We're looking for someone who can help keep our small crew efficient and on schedule. Your main responsibilities will include creating and managing the shooting schedule, coordinating on-set logistics, ensuring communication flow between departments, and maintaining a positive, professional set environment. This is an entry-level opportunity, so we're open to passionate individuals ready to step up, but prior experience in a similar organizational or leadership role on a film set is a big plus. Please be based in the Atlanta area and comfortable working on a deferred payment structure, with backend compensation tied to project completion and distribution. While we can provide basic production supplies, you should be familiar with industry-standard scheduling software and comfortable using your own laptop or tablet for on-set management.
