Seeking a Director for an ambitious sci-fi drama pilot filming in London, UK, aiming for the last week of October 2026. This is a deferred payment project offering points plus deferred compensation, ideal for a passionate filmmaker looking to make an impact. Our pilot explores themes of artificial intelligence and human connection, set in a near-future London that's both gritty and visually striking. We're looking for someone who can bring a strong visual style and emotional depth to a complex narrative, someone with a clear vision for character performance and world-building. Key responsibilities include leading the creative vision, directing actors, and collaborating closely with the DP and production team. You'll oversee shot lists, blocking, and performance, ensuring the pilot meets its creative goals. While we welcome directors of any experience level, a reel demonstrating your narrative storytelling abilities and a compelling vision for sci-fi drama are essential. We have basic camera and lighting kits, but you should be comfortable working with what's available and potentially bringing your own gear or suggestions to enhance production value.
