Seeking a seasoned Director for an upcoming independent feature film, shooting in Los Angeles, CA. This project is a character-driven dramatic thriller, exploring themes of resilience and moral ambiguity in a grounded, intense style. We're looking at a 3-week shoot schedule, targeting early November 2026 for principal photography, with pre-production commencing early October 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing our script to life, guiding the creative vision, working closely with the cast and crew, and ensuring the story's emotional core resonates. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced filmmaker, as the compensation structure is an equity partnership. We are specifically looking for a director with a strong visual style and a knack for intimate storytelling.
