Director, Sci-Fi Pilot

Hey fellow filmmakers, I'm Yuki, a VFX Artist, and we're looking for an experienced director for an upcoming sci-fi pilot. This is an ambitious project, a contained thriller with some really unique visual effects needs, blending suspenseful drama with moments of awe. We want someone who can bring a strong narrative vision and draw out compelling performances from our cast. Think smart, character-driven sci-fi with a grounded aesthetic. Your responsibilities will primarily involve translating our script into dynamic visuals, guiding actor performances, and overseeing the entire on-set creative process. This is an independent production, so you'll be instrumental in shaping the overall look and feel. We're seeking a director with a mid-level amount of experience, someone who has directed at least a few shorts or a web series. While we have some essential gear, directors with experience working effectively with smaller crews and limited resources will be a great fit.
