Director, Web Series (Entry Level)

Hey everyone, I'm working with a small independent production and we're on the hunt for an enthusiastic entry-level Director for an upcoming web series. It's a fun, character-driven comedy, think dry wit and relatable, awkward situations. We're looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective and really connect with our cast to pull out some great performances. You'll be responsible for vision execution, working closely with the Cinematographer and script supervisor, and leading the set. We need someone with a strong visual style and excellent communication skills. Please have a directing reel, even if it's short films or spec work. Camera package and essential crew, including myself, are provided. Shoot dates are approximately 5-7 days in late July/early August, 10-hour days. Paid at $1000-1500/day. Based in Toronto, you'll need to be available for pre-production meetings in person. Looking forward to seeing your work!
