Directing for Documentary

Hey all, looking for a seasoned Director to lead a compelling independent documentary feature. This isn't just another talking heads doc. We’re deep diving into the underground world of competitive street art, focusing on the adrenaline, the artistry, and the constant cat-and-mouse with authority. It's gritty, visually dynamic, and has a strong human element. You'll be responsible for creative vision, guiding interviews, managing the narrative arc, and collaborating closely with our small, dedicated crew. We need someone with a strong reel showcasing experience in impactful, character-driven documentaries, ideally with a senior credit. You should be adept at working with sensitive subjects and capturing authentic moments. We're looking at a flexible shooting schedule, primarily weekends and some weeknights, spread out over the next 4-6 months, mostly in the LA area. This is a passion project, so it's a volunteer role for credit, but we’ll provide meals and good vibes on set. Let's make something great.
