Director, Corporate Marketing Video (Entry Level)

Hey everyone, Rosa here. I'm helping out a friend who's putting together a corporate marketing video for a tech startup, and they're looking for an entry-level director to lead the charge. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece, they want something engaging and a bit playful, showcasing their innovative product in a fresh way. Think dynamic interviews, sleek product shots, and perhaps some light narrative elements to keep viewers hooked. Your main responsibilities will involve translating the client's vision into compelling visuals, guiding the crew, and ensuring a smooth workflow on set. You'll work closely with the producer and DP to execute the creative brief. We're looking for someone with a solid grasp of visual storytelling, a good eye for composition, and the ability to motivate a small team. While we don't expect you to bring a full gear package, familiarity with common production equipment is a plus. Please share your reel or any relevant work you have, even student films or short form content are great. Shoot dates are flexible but looking at late July or early August, likely 2-3 full days in Los Angeles. Meals and a copy of the final video will be provided.
