Art Department for Feature Film

We're looking for an enthusiastic Art Assistant to join our independent feature film production in Nashville, TN. This is a dramatic thriller with psychological elements and a unique, unsettling tone, promising a visually rich experience. You'll be working closely with our Production Designer, assisting with set dressing, prop sourcing, and overall art direction implementation on set. Key responsibilities include preparing and organizing art department materials, running errands for props and supplies, assisting with set construction or breakdown, and maintaining continuity. No specific gear is required for this role, but a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative spirit are essential. Experience is a plus, but we’re open to passionate individuals at any level looking to gain hands-on experience in the art department. Potential candidates should be organized, resourceful, and enjoy problem-solving on the fly. Shoot dates are approximately late July / early August, often 10-12 hour days. A small stipend for travel and food will be provided, with deferred compensation upon film completion and distribution.
