Editor, Commercial Spot (Remote OK)

Hey everyone, I'm a Rigging Gaffer putting a call out for an Editor for an upcoming commercial spot. This is for an independent production, a short and punchy piece (30-60 seconds, maybe a 15-second cutdown) for a cool new tech startup. We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for pacing and a knack for making modern brands shine, think clean aesthetics and engaging storytelling. This isn't a complex narrative, more about visual appeal and impact. You'll be responsible for all post-production editing, including initial assembly, sound design, and color grading for a polished final product. We'll provide all the raw footage, music, and any necessary graphics. We're open to all experience levels, from rising talent to seasoned pros, as long as your reel demonstrates your capability for this kind of work. Remote is definitely an option here, but we're also happy to work with someone locally in NYC if that's preferred. We're aiming for a 2-3 day editing window in early September, exact dates TBD, with around 8-10 hour days. Compensation is a flat rate of $250/day.
