Editor, Pop Music Video (Entry Level)

Hey everyone, Sara Lindquist here. We're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level editor for an upcoming independent pop music video project. This video is for a rising local artist, with a super fun, high-energy vibe that blends modern pop aesthetics with a touch of nostalgic early 2000s MTV. Think vibrant colors, quick cuts, and a strong emphasis on performance. You'll be responsible for assembling raw footage, syncing audio, implementing stylistic edits, and preparing the video for color and sound finishing. We're looking for someone with a solid grasp of editing software (Premiere Pro preferred), a keen eye for rhythm, and a passion for music video storytelling. While experience is entry level, a strong reel showcasing your editing style and potential is a must. If you have your own editing station and software, that's a huge plus. We'll provide all the footage, music, and clear creative direction. This is a paid opportunity, with a daily rate of $1000-1500, depending on experience and efficiency. Expected work will be concentrated in Minneapolis, likely over a 3-5 day period an approximate late June to early July timeframe.
