Editing for Commercial

Hey everyone, Erik here (sound mixer). I'm helping a colleague find an enthusiastic entry-level editor for an upcoming series of commercial spots. This project involves a few short, visually driven ads for a local Swedish brand, focusing on a clean, modern aesthetic with a touch of humor. It's a great opportunity to get some paid commercial work under your belt. Your main responsibilities will include assembling initial cuts, incorporating client feedback, basic color correction, and sound sync (don't worry, I'll be handling the detailed sound mixing later). We're looking for someone with a good eye for pacing and storytelling, even if your experience is limited. You'll need to have your own editing workstation and software (Premiere Pro preferred) and a reel or portfolio showcasing your editing style. We're not expecting a ton of professional credits, but demonstrate your potential! Shoot dates are around late June, early July in Stockholm, but the editing schedule is flexible, likely requiring 3-4 days of work over a couple of weeks. We're offering a daily rate of 150-300 USD, depending on your experience. We'll provide all necessary footage and brief you thoroughly. This is an independent production, so we're looking for someone who's proactive and a good communicator. Let's make some cool stuff!
