Editor, Independent Feature Film

Hey everyone, Adriana here, trying to get some crew lined up for an exciting independent feature film. We're looking for a sharp Editor to join our team in Los Angeles. This is a dramatic thriller with some elements of psychological tension, a really compelling script that we're all very passionate about. We need someone who can craft a strong narrative, has a good eye for pacing, and enjoys working collaboratively. Key responsibilities include assembling footage, refining sequences, incorporating sound design elements as needed, and working closely with the director to achieve their vision. Ideally, you'll have some prior experience, any level really, with feature film or long-form projects, and a solid understanding of industry-standard editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro. Please provide a link to your reel or some examples of your work when you apply. We're envisioning principal photography in late summer or early fall, with the editing process kicking off shortly after wrap. We'll be working out of a comfortable editing suite in the LA area. Daily rate is $300-500, depending on experience. We'll provide all the necessary technical equipment, obviously. Looking forward to hearing from you!
