Editing for Web Series
Hey filmmakers! I'm putting together a talented crew for an upcoming comedy web series and am looking for a sharp, entry-level Editor. This is a fun, character-driven project with lots of snappy dialogue and a lighthearted tone, think a blend of awkward humor and heartwarming moments. It'll be a great opportunity to get some solid web series experience under your belt. You'll be responsible for assembling raw footage into a cohesive narrative, rough cuts, fine cuts, and implementing basic sound design and color correction. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. Please be comfortable working primarily from home, though occasional in-person meetings in Los Angeles might be needed to review cuts. We don't expect you to own high-end gear, but a reliable computer capable of handling HD footage editing is essential. Please submit a reel or links to past editing work when you apply. Even if it's student work or personal projects, we want to see your style and potential! We're aiming for principal photography in late Spring, so editing would likely begin shortly after that and continue for a few weeks. This is a paid position, offering $200-400 per day, depending on experience and the specific workload. We're a small, independent production, so you'll be an integral part of the team. I'm excited to see your portfolios!
