Editor, pilot (Remote possible)

Alright, fellow filmmakers, we're on the hunt for a skilled editor for an upcoming pilot. This is an independent production, a drama with some dark comedic undertones, really character driven and exploring some complex social themes. It's going to be a compelling watch, trust me. We're looking for someone who can craft a strong narrative, has a good sense of pacing, and can help us bring this story to life. Your main responsibilities will involve assembling raw footage, inputting music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, and working closely with the director to achieve the desired vision. You'll need access to your own editing software and workstation. While we're based in Miami, remote is definitely an option if you're a good fit. This is a passion project, so it's a volunteer position, but a fantastic opportunity to get a strong credit and collaborate on something genuinely interesting. We’re aiming to have principal photography wrapped in the next few weeks, so editorial can begin shortly after. Please send over your reel and a brief note about why this project excites you.
