Video Editor, Comedy Web Series

Need an enthusiastic video editor to join our team for a snarky, fast-paced comedy web series. We're looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective and comedic timing to the post-production process. This independent production focuses on awkward social situations and features quick cuts and punchy dialogue, so a good sense of rhythm is key. Your main responsibilities will include assembling raw footage, inputting music and sound effects, finessing pacing, and collaborating closely with the director and our post-production team to achieve the desired tone. You'll need to have your own editing station, preferably running Adobe Premiere Pro, and a strong reel demonstrating your editing style, especially in comedy or narrative work. We're shooting over 4 weekends in July, so editing will primarily happen throughout August and September, with flexible hours. This is a volunteer opportunity offering valuable experience, screen credit, and all meals provided during collaborative sessions. We're a tight-knit crew, and this is a great chance to build your portfolio and connections in the LA film scene. Let's make some funny content together!
