Senior Feature Film Editor (Atlanta)

Hey everyone, Wayne Garrett here. I'm helping out an independent production looking for a seasoned editor for an upcoming feature film. This one’s a gritty, character-driven drama set in the heart of Atlanta, exploring themes of resilience and redemption. Think a modern-day Southern Gothic, with some really compelling performances. We're looking for someone who can craft a powerful narrative and bring a distinctive vision to the final cut. Key responsibilities include assembling footage, refining pacing, collaborating with the director, and managing all post-production workflows. We need someone who’s proficient with industry-standard editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and has a strong portfolio of narrative feature film work. Please send over your reel and a brief summary of relevant experience. This isn't a post-house gig (we're a small production company), so you'll be working closely with a tight-knit team. Editor will need to provide their own editing suite and necessary software. Shoot dates are TBD, but we're aiming for a late summer, early fall production with post-production immediately following. We're paying a flat rate of $250/day. This is a great opportunity to work on a really engaging story with a passionate crew.
