Entry Line Producer, Sci-Fi Pilot

When a brilliant but reclusive scientist discovers a wormhole in his basement, he must decide if humanity is ready for the cosmos. We are an independent production looking for an organized and enthusiastic entry-level Line Producer to join our team for an exciting sci-fi drama pilot. This project aims to blend a grounded, character-driven story with ambitious visual concepts, and we're looking for someone who can help us bring this vision to life efficiently. We value collaboration and a passion for independent filmmaking. Key responsibilities include assisting with budget management, coordinating logistics (locations, permits, equipment rentals), scheduling crew and talent, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on set. You'll work closely with the UPM and Director to keep the production on track and within scope. No specific gear is required, but a strong understanding of film production workflow, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude are essential. While this is an entry-level role, prior experience in production coordination, assistant directing, or other production office roles is a plus. Shoot dates are tentatively planned for a total of 10-12 days in late October 2026, with some prep work commencing late September 2026. This is a Brooklyn, NY based production.
