Line Producer, Indie Feature (Remote OK)

We are seeking a Line Producer to join our independent feature film production. This is an entry-level opportunity for a passionate individual to contribute to an intriguing drama with a touch of dark comedy, exploring themes of familial obligation and unexpected fortune. We are looking for someone to immediately assist with budgeting, scheduling, and logistical planning for a shoot primarily based in Minneapolis, MN, though remote work for pre-production is completely fine. Key responsibilities include creating and managing the production budget, developing a detailed shooting schedule, coordinating crew and vendor logistics, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the set. You'll be instrumental in keeping us on track and within scope. Experience with independent film budgeting software (like Movie Magic Budgeting) and scheduling tools is highly valued, along with a solid understanding of set protocols. A reel isn't applicable here, but a resume highlighting any production coordination or assistant line producing experience is great. While this is an entry-level position, a proactive attitude and strong organizational skills are essential. Anticipate approximately 3 weeks of work for pre-production starting now, leading into principal photography, which is tentatively scheduled for the last week of October 2026. This role is paid at a rate of $200-400 per day, commensurate with experience. We will provide all necessary production insurance and software licenses for budgeting/scheduling.
