Entry Production Designer, Lagos Feature Film

Hey there! We're putting together a talented team for an independent feature film shooting in Lagos, and I'm looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Production Designer. It's a gripping drama with a strong social commentary, set in contemporary Lagos, so we need someone with a keen eye for detail to help craft authentic and impactful environments. You'll be working closely with the director and me, responsible for conceptualizing and executing the visual aesthetic of the film, from set dressing to props and overall art direction. Ideally, you'll have some experience on short films or student projects, a good understanding of visual storytelling, and a portfolio or reel that shows your work. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on a feature. We're looking at a 4-week shoot starting in late Q3 2024 (dates are flexible). While this is a deferred pay position, we're offering points in the film as well. You'll need to be resourceful and creative, though we will provide a modest budget for materials and some transportation during shoot days. Excited to see what you can bring to the table!
