Production Designer, Indie Feature (Atlanta)
Hey filmmakers, Keisha here. We're on the hunt for a talented Production Designer for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in Atlanta. This project is a character-driven psychological thriller with a grounded, gritty aesthetic, exploring themes of memory and perception. We need someone who can help us build a world that feels real but can also subtly shift to reflect our protagonist's unraveling mind. It's a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual to make a significant impact on the visual storytelling. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the director and DP to develop the overall visual style, creating concept art and mood boards, sourcing and managing props and set dressing, and overseeing the art department team. We're open to all experience levels, from rising stars to seasoned professionals. What's most important is a strong portfolio or reel that demonstrates your artistic vision and problem-solving skills. Please detail any specific software proficiency (CAD, SketchUp, etc.) when you reach out. While we have a limited art department budget, creative solutions and resourcefulness will be highly valued. We'll provide a dedicated art PA and transportation for larger set pieces. Approximate shoot dates are 6 weeks in late summer, early fall. This will be a standard 10-12 hour day. Compensation is $2000-3000 per week, commensurate with experience. Looking forward to seeing your work!
