Senior Production Designer, Music Video (Vancouver)

Hey everyone, we're looking for a talented Senior Production Designer for an upcoming independent music video project. It's a really visually driven concept, think early 2000s alt-pop meets modern indie rock, with a slightly surreal, dreamlike tone. We're aiming to create some distinctive sets and props that really elevate the mood and storytelling. Your main responsibilities will include developing the visual style with the director, creating set designs, sourcing or fabricating props, and overseeing the art department on set. We'll need someone who can translate creative concepts into practical, impactful designs within a tight turnaround. We're looking for someone with significant experience in art direction or production design for music videos or short-form content. You should have a strong portfolio demonstrating your creative vision and ability to execute. Please include a link to your reel or online portfolio when you apply. Own basic toolkit is an asset, but we'll provide all specialty materials and a dedicated budget for props and set dressing. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for mid-September, spanning roughly 4-5 days, typically 10-12 hour days. This is a paid position, offering $2000-$3000 per week, dependent on experience.
