Production Design for Web Series

Hey fellow creatives, I'm Nadia, an animator putting together a fun, quirky sci-fi comedy web series about a group of misfit inventors trying to save their local diner from alien bureaucracy. We need a senior Production Designer to bring our slightly retro-futuristic, intentionally DIY aesthetic to life. Think "Flight of the Conchords" meets "Galaxy Quest" on a shoestring budget. Your main gig will be designing and sourcing props, set dressing, and crafting some truly memorable environments that complement our comedic tone. We're looking for someone who can be incredibly resourceful and imaginative, turning everyday items into something out of this world (or at least, out of this dinerspace). You’ll work closely with the director and me on visual concepts. We need someone with extensive experience in indie film or web series production design, particularly those with a knack for practical effects and thrifty solutions. Please send over your portfolio or reel that highlights your design work, especially any projects with a comedic or sci-fi bend. Shoot dates are roughly late July to early August, 8-10 hour days, likely 4-5 days a week for two weeks. This is a paid gig, $100-200/day depending on experience. We'll provide some basic craft services and a good time. Let's make something weird and wonderful!
