Entry Sound Designer, Prague Doc
This independent documentary explores the rich, hidden folklore of the Bohemian Forest, bringing ancient tales to life through evocative imagery. We're seeking an entry-level Sound Designer to join our small team in Prague. You'll be responsible for crafting the atmospheric soundscape of our project, from ambient forest sounds to subtle, character-driven Foley. This includes sound effects editing, dialogue cleanup, and some basic mixing for the documentary. Ideally, you’ll have your own basic audio workstation and software (like DaVinci Resolve Fairlight, Adobe Audition, or Pro Tools) and a portfolio or reel showcasing your work, even if it's student projects or short films. While we have a small sound library, your initiative in sourcing and creating unique sounds will be valued. Post-production is expected to start in the second half of September 2026 and last for approximately 3-4 weeks. This is a TBD compensation opportunity, offering valuable experience and a chance to make a significant creative contribution to an interesting film.
