Sound Design for Music Video

We're looking for a talented Sound Designer to join our independent production for an upcoming music video, bringing creative and impactful audio to life. This project is a visually driven, high-energy R&B/Hip-Hop track with a modern, glossy aesthetic, exploring themes of ambition and overcoming challenges. We need someone who can craft a rich soundscape, enhancing the mood and rhythm of the track, and potentially incorporate some subtle foley elements to elevate key visual moments. Expect a professional but collaborative environment where your creative input is valued. Your primary responsibility will be all aspects of post-production sound, including sound effects, atmosphere, and foley, working closely with the director to achieve the desired tone. You should have access to your own professional sound design software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, etc.) and a library of high-quality sound effects. Previous experience designing sound for music videos, commercials, or short films is preferred, and a reel demonstrating your creative sound work is a must. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to build their portfolio with a visually striking piece. The music video has a projected post-production timeline of about 3 weeks, beginning around late September or early October 2026. This is a deferred compensation position (points plus deferred payment) as is common in independent productions.
