Senior Sound Designer, Web Series (Deferred Pay)

Our independent production, a darkly comedic web series blending surrealism with character-driven drama, is seeking a Senior Sound Designer to join our post-production team. This project offers a unique opportunity to craft an immersive sonic landscape, crucial for enhancing the show's distinctive tone and impact. We're looking for someone who thrives on creative problem-solving and has a passion for building worlds through sound. Your primary responsibilities will include comprehensive sound design, foley creation, sound effects editing, and mixing. You will work closely with our picture editor and director to ensure the audio effectively supports the narrative and stylistic vision. We anticipate approximately 3-4 weeks of dedicated work, primarily in late November and early December 2026. This is a Vancouver, BC based role, with the expectation of some in-person collaboration. Candidates must have at least 5 years of professional sound design experience, preferably on narrative projects. A strong understanding of current industry-standard audio software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro) is essential, along with your own equipment for editing and mixing.
