Sound Designer - Pilot Project, Nashville

Hey Nashville film folks. I'm Andre Williams, a composer, and I'm looking for a talented Sound Designer for an upcoming independent pilot project. It's a dark comedy, think Coen Brothers meets 'Barry,' with a really unique premise and tone. We've got some great talent attached and I'm excited about the potential. We need someone who can craft an immersive soundscape, from environmental ambiance to foley and sound effects. You'll be responsible for all post-production sound elements, working closely with me to ensure the sound perfectly complements the score and storytelling. We prefer someone who owns their own gear and software, but we're open to discussing options. We don't require extensive professional credits, strong passion and a solid demo reel showcasing your ear for detail and creative sound design are what we're looking for. Please, show us what you can do. Shoot dates are still being finalized but will likely be over a concentrated period in late summer or early fall. We expect around 20-30 hours of work, spread out over a few weeks. Compensation is negotiable, we want to make sure you're fairly compensated for your work on this exciting pilot.
