Web Series Sound Designer (Remote OK)

Hey there! I'm putting together the crew for an exciting, independent web series and need a talented Sound Designer to join us. It's a dark comedy, think 'Fargo' meets 'The Office' in terms of tone, with some truly bizarre situations that will benefit greatly from creative sound work. We're looking for someone who can craft rich, immersive soundscapes, handle all aspects of sound editing, mixing, and mastering, and really elevate the storytelling through audio. You'll be responsible for creating custom sound effects, sweetening dialogue, designing ambiences, and ensuring a professional, polished final mix for each episode. We're open to all experience levels, from rising stars to seasoned pros. You'll need your own professional sound design software and access to a comprehensive sound library. Please provide a reel demonstrating your previous work, especially anything with a comedic or offbeat edge. This is for approximately 3-4 weeks of work, starting around late October/early November, with flexible hours. We're based in Sydney but remote applicants are more than welcome. We're offering $2000-3000 AUD per week, commensurate with experience. Looking forward to hearing from you!
