Senior Sound Designer for NYC Short Film

Hey everyone, I'm producing an independent short film here in NYC, a gritty, character-driven drama with some intense action sequences. We need a talented Senior Sound Designer to help bring our world to life. This isn't just about sound effects, it's about building an immersive auditory experience that enhances the story's emotional weight and thrills. You'll be primarily responsible for all aspects of post-production sound, including FX design, Foley, dialogue cleanup, and mixing for a festival-ready deliverable. We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio of previous narrative work, ideally with experience on action-oriented projects. You should have your own professional-grade DAW and sound libraries. This is a partnership opportunity, offering a Co-producer credit and backend participation in any future revenue. Our shoot is tentatively scheduled for late spring, so post-production would likely be over the summer.
