Sound Designer, Pilot Episode

Pilot Sound Design Miami, FL any Budget: $1000-1500/day

Hey there! I'm an EPK Producer working on an independent production, and we're on the hunt for a skilled Sound Designer for our upcoming pilot episode. It's a comedy-drama, really character-driven with some quirky visual elements that we want to amplify with an awesome soundscape. Think nuanced foley, clever sound effects, and atmospheric design that complements the humor and heart without being over-the-top. Your main gig will be creating a polished and immersive sonic world for our 45-minute pilot. This includes foley work, sound effects creation and implementation, and general audio sweetening. We’ll need you to have your own professional sound design software and a good library of effects, although we're open to discussing particular needs. We’re looking for someone with a strong ear and an ability to tell a story through sound. While all experience levels are welcome to apply, a compelling reel showcasing your past work is essential. Our shoot dates are currently slated for late spring, early summer, with a post-production schedule to follow that will be fairly flexible, around 8-10 hours a day during peak periods. We’re shooting here in Miami, and you'll be working remotely for most of the post-production, but occasional in-person meetings might be helpful. We'll provide all raw audio files and a detailed spotting list. This is a paid position, offering $1000-$1500 per day, depending on experience and the scope of work.
