Sound Designer, Indie Feature Film

Hey everyone, my name is Terrence and I'm DITing an independent feature film shooting in Los Angeles this fall. We're on the hunt for a skilled Sound Designer to join our post-production team. This is a dramatic thriller with some intense psychological elements, so we're looking for someone creative who can really dial in the atmosphere and tension through sound. Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing all sound effects, foley, and ambiences, as well as working closely with the editor and composer to ensure everything blends into the final mix. We need someone who has experience delivering high-quality sound for narrative features, preferably in the drama/thriller space. Please have a strong sound design reel ready to share, highlighting your best work. We anticipate this will be about a 3-4 week commitment, flexible hours, likely starting sometime in late October or early November, once we're deep into picture lock. Compensation is $100-200/day, depending on experience. You'll need your own workstation and software (Pro Tools or similar). We'll provide all source audio files and a comfortable, collaborative work environment. Looking forward to hearing from you!
