Gaffer for Commercial Shoot, Los Angeles

Seeking an experienced Gaffer for a high-energy commercial shoot in Los Angeles, an independent production featuring dynamic product shots and stylized talent performances. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for crafting impactful lighting setups that elevate our visual storytelling. You'll be responsible for designing and executing the lighting plan, working closely with the DP to achieve the desired aesthetic, and leading a small lighting crew. This is a senior-level position, so significant commercial gaffing experience is essential, along with a solid reel showcasing your work. You should have access to your own basic lighting package, including stands, flags, and C-stands, though specialized fixtures will be rented. The shoot is approximately a 2-day commitment, anticipated for the first half of September 2026, with a day of prep beforehand. Hours will be standard 10-12 hour days. Deferred compensation (points + deferred pay) is offered for your valuable contribution to this exciting project.
