Gaffer for Indie Hip-Hop Music Video

Hey everyone, Kevin Park here, AD on an upcoming independent music video shoot. We're looking for a sharp Gaffer to join our crew for a hip-hop music video. It's an energetic, visually driven track with a strong narrative arc, think vibrant street scenes mixed with some stylized studio performance shots. We're aiming for a dynamic and polished so your eye for lighting will be crucial in bringing our vision to life. You'll be responsible for executing the lighting plan, working closely with the DP, and managing the grip and electric team on set. We need someone who can work efficiently and creatively, even with a smaller budget. Experience isn't as important as enthusiasm and a good work ethic, so even if you're relatively new but eager to learn, please apply! Having access to your own basic G&E package would be a huge plus, but it's not a dealbreaker. Please send over a reel or some work samples if you have them. Shoot dates are TBD, likely 2-3 days in late May/early June. We'll be providing meals and snacks on set, and travel expenses within NYC can be discussed.
