Gaffer (Mid-Level) for Commercial Shoot

Hey there! I'm a DP looking for a solid mid-level Gaffer for an upcoming commercial project in LA. This is a visually driven spot for a new tech product, aiming for a clean, modern aesthetic with some really slick product shots. We're going for a high-end feel, so your expertise in shaping and controlling light will be key to making this look amazing. You'll be lighting interiors and exteriors, managing the lighting package, and working closely with grip and electric to execute the vision. We’ll need someone who can translate complex lighting setups into practical rigging and operation. Proficiency with various LED fixtures, HMI, and tungsten units is a must, along with a good understanding of power distribution. Please have your own basic kit (meters, gels, distro, etc.), though we'll be renting a full lighting package. Experience working on commercial sets and a strong reel demonstrating your gaffing work are essential. We're looking at a 2-3 day shoot, likely in late July or early August, with prep days beforehand. Hours will be typical commercial days. Compensation is deferred, with a backend percentage offered.
