Best Boy Electric for Web Series, Vancouver

Hey everyone, I'm a Gaffer looking for a talented Best Boy Electric to join my team for an upcoming independent web series. We're shooting a dark comedy/mystery, think 'Knives Out' meets 'Only Murders in the Building' but with a distinct Vancouver vibe. We're aiming for a stylish, slightly moody look with some fun practicals. You'll be working closely with me to execute the lighting plan, manage distribution, oversee equipment, and ensure our setups are safe and efficient. We'll be using a mix of LED and HMI fixtures. Experience on set is definitely a plus, but if you're keen and have a solid understanding of set safety and lighting principles, I encourage you to apply. A reel or portfolio demonstrating your electrical work if you have one would be great, but not essential for breaking in. We'll be shooting approximately 8-10 hour days over two weeks in late September, early October. Dates are still slightly flexible. We'll provide lunch and all necessary grip and electric gear.
