Line Producer, Dramatic Pilot (LA)

An independent production is seeking a seasoned Line Producer for an upcoming dramatic pilot. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama set in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles, exploring themes of loyalty and consequence. We're looking for someone who can help us bring this compelling story to life efficiently and effectively. As our Line Producer, you'll be responsible for overseeing all physical production aspects, managing the budget, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth workflow from pre-production through wrap. This includes vendor negotiations, crew hiring (beyond department heads), location scouting logistics, and managing day-to-day operations on set. You'll work closely with the director and our small team to maintain creative integrity within our budgetary framework. We need someone with at least 5-7 years of experience as a Line Producer on narrative projects, ideally with experience on pilots or short-form series. Strong budgeting skills are essential, along with a track record of successful project delivery. You should be highly organized, a proactive problem-solver, and comfortable navigating the demands of independent filmmaking. Please share a resume detailing your relevant experience. Pre-production will begin around September 7, 2026, with an estimated 3 weeks of prep. Principal photography is slated for 5-7 days, projected for early October 2026. We are shooting in the Los Angeles area. Compensation is TBD, dependent on experience. We'll be providing all necessary production software and a dedicated production office space.
