Location Assistant, Commercial Shoot (Entry-Level)
Hey everyone, Ben Castillo here. We're gearing up for an exciting commercial shoot in Los Angeles, a high-octane piece that blends action and humor for a well-known brand. Think dynamic visuals and energetic pacing. I'm looking for an entry-level Location Assistant to join our team. Your primary role will involve assisting with scouting, securing permits, helping with logistics on set, and generally supporting the Locations Manager. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in commercial production. No specific gear required from your end, but a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a must. While this is an entry-level position, any prior experience with set work, even as a PA, is a plus. Please don't worry about a traditional reel, but if you have any portfolio of personal projects or demonstrate organizational skills, feel free to share. Shoot dates are approximate but will be around two to three days in late October. Hours will be typical commercial shoot days, likely 10-12 hours. Craft services and meals will be provided on set. Compensation is deferred on a backend percentage, offering a chance to be part of a successful independent production. Looking forward to hearing from you!
