Locations for Commercial

Hey, Damon here. I'm helping a small independent production find an On-Set Location Assistant for an upcoming commercial shoot in NYC. This is a short, upbeat ad for a tech startup, so the vibe is pretty fast-paced and energetic. We'll be shooting across a few different locations, mostly around Lower Manhattan. Your main responsibilities will be assisting the Locations Manager with all on-set needs, including maintaining cleanliness and organization, managing trash and recycling, helping with talent holding areas, securing parking permits if needed, and generally being an extra set of hands for anything locations-related. You'll also be communicating with building management or property owners as directed by the Locations Manager. We're looking for someone with at least a couple of commercial or short film credits in a similar role. Having a valid driver's license is a definite plus, as we might need some local pickups. You don't need any specific gear, just a good attitude and a willingness to hustle. Shoot dates are approximately July 15-18, with potential for a prep day beforehand. Days will generally be 10-12 hours. We'll provide craft services, lunch, and good company.
