Locations Scout/Manager, Corporate Video

Hey everyone, Sara here, a Post-Production Supervisor on an upcoming corporate video project. We're looking for an experienced Locations Scout/Manager to join our team for a series of high-quality internal training videos for a prominent local company. Think professional, clean, and modern spaces, but with a friendly, accessible tone. Your main responsibilities will include identifying, securing, and managing diverse locations in and around Minneapolis, handling permits and releases, and acting as a primary point of contact with property owners. We need someone who can quickly assess a space for its aesthetic and practical suitability for video production, including power, noise, and accessibility. We're seeking a mid-level professional with a strong portfolio showcasing successful location management for similar corporate or commercial projects. Knowledge of Minneapolis and surrounding areas is a huge plus. While we don't expect you to own specialized scouting gear, your own transportation and a reliable camera for scouting photos are essential. We're offering deferred compensation for this, reflecting the independent production nature of the work, with the understanding that payment will be made upon successful funding closure. Shoot dates are TBD, likely 3-4 days in late summer/early fall, with some preliminary scouting work beforehand. We'll provide necessary production insurance and a clear shot list once finalized.
